Accounting Manager (Chief Accountant)

• Locations: Hà Nam
• Salary: 25-35M
• Languages: Only Vietnamese language is acceptable. English & Japanese (plus)

Main Job Description:

• Handle accounting and tax operations for the company during the factory setup / launch phase.
• Coordinate with the external accounting firm and gradually internalize accounting / tax functions in the future.
• Manage monthly / yearly closing, tax compliance, tax filings, and related reporting work.
• Support EPE-related accounting / tax matters and keep up with relevant legal / regulatory updates.
• Potentially support consolidation-related work under Japanese standards and coordination with HQ / IFRS-related matters in the future.
• Mainly focused on accounting and tax, but a candidate who can flexibly support a broad scope of work when needed is preferred.

Systems / Tools: FAST

• Reporting Line: Work closely with Japanese management, Admin/GA management, and Japan-side finance personnel.
• Jobs outsourcing to accounting firm: Currently accounting and tax work are outsourced to an accounting firm, but this outsourcing is planned to end in the near future.

Must Have

• Practical accounting experience: 10+ years
• Chief Accountant Certificate
• Experience in an EPE company
• Able to handle accounting and tax work in a broad and hands-on manner
• Able to adapt to an early-stage company environment where some matters are not yet fixed
• Note: English & Japanese are not necessary. Only Vietnamese language is acceptable

Nice to have (advantage / preferable)

• 5+ years of practical experience as a Chief Accountant
• Experience in a Japanese company
• Able to commute by motorbike if needed (company shuttle bus is still undecided)
• Japanese language ability
• IFRS knowledge or experience
• FCT experience
• Japanese PIT experience
• Able to proactively obtain and update legal/ regulatory information
• Stable job history and willingness to stay with one company long term
• Honest, cooperative personality; not inclined to blame the company and resign quickly

Compensation & Benefits

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Salary Range: VND 25-35 million gross / month
• Bonus

Other Benefits

• Intended as an all-in package including allowances. Other details are currently not available.
• Shuttle bus is still undecided. A candidate who can commute by motorbike is preferred.

Working Hours

• The labor regulations are currently planned as 1 day off per week, while actual operation will be based on the company calendar. For accounting staff, Saturday and Sunday off may be applied for some periods.
• Work Arrangement: On-site.
• Contributed Salary for Social Insurance: Calculated based on Basic salary & Position allowance.
• Probation Period & The Salary: 2 months & 100% of the official salary is paid in the probation.
