Lead 2D Artist – Vietnam

Up to 3500$ + 3-6 bonus months

The team consists of over 70 members who are passionate about creating games that are accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

What you will work on

• Genres: Casual / Puzzle
• Platforms: HTML5 Games, iOS, Android

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Determining the game’s visual aesthetic and artistic direction. Making style manuals and visual target benchmarks is part of this.
• Crafting art assets: The process of designing and generating 2D art assets for the game, including characters, environments, and UI elements.
• Ensure that all 2D art assets are in accordance with the game’s overall visual style and meet the company’s high quality standards.
• Collaboration: Working in accordance with game designers, programmers, and other team members to guarantee that the art effectively contributes to the game design and improves the gaming experience.
• Schedule and planning: Effectively allocate resources, plan and schedule art tasks, and adhere to project deadlines.
• Choosing, training, and developing art department workers

REQUIREMENTS

• Three or more years of experience in a top-level art role in the gaming industry, preferably with extensive knowledge of casual puzzle free-to-play mobile games judgment, good taste in art, and a trained eye; knows how to balance quality
• Strong knowledge of isometry, shapes, and volumes; high level of rendering; experience with character design, coming up with complex ideas and illustrations, and creating interfaces.
• You need a strong portfolio of casual 2D art.
• Ability to see issues with graphics and give constructive feedback
• Knowledge of the mobile game market around the world and graphic design trends
• Knowledge of how to evaluate and improve a team

Hiring Process

• 1st round: Portfolio & CV review
• 2nd round: Recruiter Screen (30-45 minutes)
• 3rd round: Test/Assessment
• 4th round: Onsite Interview with Manager (45-60 minutes)

1. Work Hours

• Our standard work hours: 9:00 – 18:30, Monday to Friday.
