Hercules (hercules.app), an AI app builder, is looking for a senior or staff level SEO Content Writer to help educate the world on what Hercules is, how it works, and why it matters.

What You’ll Do
You will own Hercules’ SEO content engine end to end:
- Identify the highest-value keywords and search opportunities to target, e.g. “best AI app builder”, “hercules vs lovable”, or “build a CRM”.
- Publish long-form content that is simple, accurate, clear, and useful.
- Monitor and optimize existing content until it ranks highly and drives traffic, signups, and revenue.
- Automate your workflow with AI tools.
Skills You Need
Hercules expects candidates to be very strong across all of these areas:
- Writing quality: exceptional long-form writing. The house style is terse, simple, clear, convincing, authentic, and useful. No AI slop. Strong communication is the #1 requirement.
- SEO: strong understanding of search intent, content structure, on-page SEO, internal linking, content refreshes, and what it takes for content to rank.
- Commercial sense: content that ranks AND converts readers into paying customers.
- Technical fluency: familiarity with technical concepts like APIs, authentication, hosting, and role-based access control.
- AI leverage: able to truly 10x your workflow with frontier AI tools. Expect to produce around 50+ high-quality articles a month, if not more, so working fast and smart matters.

Work Setup: Office or Remote?
The Hercules founding team works in-office in San Francisco (Kearny and Bush) and has a very strong preference for in-office work. They are open to remote for exceptional candidates who are willing to 1) work in US time zones and 2) travel to the office regularly.
Compensation
$100k to $250k + equity, variable based on seniority, equity, and location.
